The Chamber of Commerce of Newtown works to promote and to encourage the continued growth and success of the Newtown, Connecticut business community.

A stand-alone Chamber – the Chamber is supported by membership dues, fundraising, and member volunteer talent. The Chamber of Commerce of Newtown is a 501(C)(6).

A part-time Business Development Manager and Financial Administrator serve our member’s needs. Office hours are by appointment. The office is located at Edmond Town Hall at 45 Main Street, Newtown.

An active volunteer board and committees support the expansion of business opportunities for marketing, networking events and programs, community-sponsored events, and involvement in local economic development.

Chamber programming includes monthly morning and evening business seminars, co-sponsor of monthly lunch and learns, Small Business Week programs and more. A growing social media presence and active email campaigns spread the word about the Chamber’s offerings.
