The Chamber of Commerce of Newtown, Inc. is a nonprofit business advocacy, community and economic development association committed to the support of its members' growth and success and the development of a positive economic climate. The Chamber services people and firms residing or having a place of business in the Town of Newtown, Connecticut and is funded by membership investments and fundraisers. Policies and programs reflecting our members' ideas and concerns are formulated and implemented by an elected Board of Directors, a small paid staff, and many business and professional volunteers. Drawing from the vast pool of knowledge and resources of its membership, the Chamber can collectively accomplish what no business or professional can do alone. Through the combined efforts of its membership, the Chamber has the insight and knowledge to identify and address issues of importance to the business community. Chamber Office The Chamber of Commerce of Newtown, Inc. is easily located off Exit 10 from Interstate 84. Proceed West on Church Hill Road toward the Flagpole. Take a right at the Flagpole and you will find Edmond Town Hall located on the left about an eighth of a mile down the road.
