Daily Social Media Campaigns: Market your business and events via the Chamber’s social media campaigns geared to members and the community. Our Facebook and Instagram reach is expanding. Send us images and links to share. Tag us – and we will interact with your postings.
– Morning networking meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at member businesses from 8:00 – 9:00am. For special events the day of thee week can be changed for maximum exposure.
– Evening networking events are most successful when they are based around food and beverages. Businesses can partner for “shop and sips’ events. Events generally run from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. A nominal fee is set for the event to coverage food and beverage costs.
Sponsor Networking & Educational Events: Opportunities may include Martini Madness, Destination Newtown, Golf Outing, Business Education Seminars and Networking Events at member businesses during morning or evening hours.
Booth Participant: “Booth-sit” at community events while promoting the Chamber and your business to the community. Events may include the Duck Race, Newtown Arts Festival, Newtown Food Truck Festival and others.
Newsletter Advertisement: Advertise at affordable rates in the bi-monthly paper and digital newsletter, which is e-mailed, boosted on social media and available to the community in various locations throughout Newtown.
Membership Referrals: Membership shows your commitment to the business community and serving your customers. It shows you are committed to your community’s success, serving your customer base and supporting other business. The Chamber welcomes new members and actively refers member business to others in the business community.
Use your talents and your team’s talents to grow the Chamber, meet other business owners and develop your team’s leadership talents too. Committees provide leadership roles in the Chamber and business community. Our membership is full of talented, educated and seasoned professionals who share their experience and provide mentoring opportunities.
Members are encouraged to share their expertise and be speakers at Chamber events to educate and promote their business. In addition, the Chamber partners with the Newtown Economic Development Commission and the Cyrenius H. Booth Library to provide monthly Brown Bag Business Hours. Members can join others in the entrepreneurial, home office, and small business community for an informative hour to develop your business acumen.
The Chamber has access to information about training opportunities across the region. Event information is shared with members and Chamber discounts can be negotiated when possible.
Certificates of Origin: The Chamber will provide “Certificates of Origin” to members who ship overseas and require Chamber of Commerce certification.
Member only discounts: Members can take advantage of member only promotional opportunities and discounts as provided.
