SATURDAY STORM UPDATE: First Selectman Dan Rosenthal reports that over 100 restoration crews have converged in Newtown today, and are working to energize several major circuits - but there are still nearly 100 broken poles that need to be replaced across town. There is no update on when power will be fully restored, but outages are down to 22% or 2,452 Eversource customers as of noon. All previously reported support services are still operational.
